RUSH-HOUR CRASH SENDS 3 TO HOSPITAL.

VALENCIA - Three people were hospitalized - two in critical condition - after a rush-hour collision Thursday morning at a heavily traveled intersection in the Valencia Industrial Center.

Blanco's truck charged up a small embankment, breaking through the monument sign for H.R. Textron and snapping two trees. The Kia was crushed and came to rest against a pedestrian button at the corner.

The Blancos managed easily to get out of the truck, though Ricardo was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sheriff's Deputy Anthony Arnold said the pair in the Kia remained hospitalized in critical condition as of Thursday afternoon.
