RUBENSTEIN NAMED FOX'S NEW MANAGER, MARKETING
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Ira Rubenstein has

been named Twentieth Century Fox's new manager, marketing, Motion Picture Division, it was announced today by Nancy Utley, senior vice president, marketing, media and research. Rubenstein assumes the position previously held by Madelyn Adams, who is leaving the company to join the marketing division of the Atlanta Committee for the 1996 Olympic Games. Reporting to Joel Millikin, director of media and cooperative advertising, Rubenstein will coordinate qualitative and quantitative research for films and film advertising, as well as assisting in the evaluation of media vehicles.
Utley commented: "Ira Rubenstein is a fine example of what our intern program is all about. After six months spent learning every aspect of our marketing and distribution operation, he is ready to join the team, assuming a key position Madelyn Adams was brought in to create and has filled with distinction for the last two years."
A student in the Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program at University of Southern California, from which he will graduate with a master of fine arts next May, Rubenstein joined Fox as a marketing and distribution intern under Tom Sherak in May 1991. Rubenstein earned his bachelor of arts from the University of California, San Diego. Since July he has worked as assistant to Mari Barnum, director, exhibitor relations.
Twentieth Century Fox is primarily engaged in the financing, development, production, distribution and marketing of motion pictures throughout the world and is a unit of Fox Inc.
