RSA licenses Certificate Issuing System(TM) to NEL; deal allows for implementation of Internet privacy enhanced mail (PEM) and other applications; NTT group joins RSA's commercial hierarchy.


REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 1995--RSA Data Security, Inc. (RSA (1) (Rural Service Area) See MSA.

) and NTT Electronics Technology Corporation (NEL) jointly announced today a relationship in which RSA is licensing its Certificate Issuing System, or CIS Cis (sĭs), same as Kish (1.)

NEL will be creating and servicing PEM for users in NTT offices throughout Japan and Asia using RSA's RC4(TM) and RC5(TM) ciphers, and NTT's FEAL fe´al
