Also to be heard: Original Advocacy by Turadg Aleahmad and Brian Tuttle; Oratorical Interpretation by Shannon Nowell and Claudia Natera; and Debate by Ann Hermele. Because of time limits, some of the presentations will be in excerpt form, said Haren. The students will receive Toastmasters evaluations and awards, said Gaylord. Developing speaking, listening and writing skills are goals of the international organization, which is open to the general public. Admission to the March 28 program is free. Prospective members of the new Santa Susana Lions Club will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. today at Marie Callender's, according to Luke Spencer, extension chairman for District 4-A3. At a previous get-acquainted meeting with present Lions Club members, the future Lions established the second and fourth Saturdays of the month for regular meetings. The official organization meeting will be May 11, with the charter night set for June 15. Established in 1917, Lions Club International opened membership to women eight years ago.
