Royal of Simi Valley's Andi Ramirez was named Southern Section softball Div. I Player of the Year after leading the Highlanders to the section title. Royal coach Bill Dishon was also honored.

In baseball, Campbell Hall Campbell Hall can refer to:
  • a residence hall at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)
  • Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood, California
 of North Hollywood junior Sam Weingberger and senior China McCarney of Vasquez were co-players of the year in Div. VI. Coach Juan Velaszquez of Campbell Hall, which defeated Mojave in the division final, was also honored.

The players were selected by the Southern Section baseball and softball coaches' associations.

Junior Jason Stoffel of Agoura was also named to the first team.

Joining Ramirez, a senior, on the Div. I softball first team are seniors Ashley Arnett of Saugus, Devon Hofland of Royal, Breanne Javier of Valencia, junior Emily Sudik of Hart and sophomore Jordan Taylor of Valencia.
