Dunn was the only area wrestler to win a Southern championship, but he leads a 16-deep local contingent - including 13 from the Marmonte League The Marmonte League is a high school sports league primarily made up of schools from Ventura County. Dunn will be joined at the Masters Meet by teammates Gerald Figueroa, who won six successive bouts after a first-round defeat to finish third at 103 pounds, and Mike DiCato, who captured third at 171.

Calabasas' Cameron Teitelman (125) and Rio Mesa of Oxnard's Michael Lemos (189) also reached Southern Division title bouts. Teitelman, who beat Simi Valley's Mikey Murphy in the semifinals - his fourth win in five meetings this season - lost 5-1 to top-seeded Aaron Navarrete. Lemos was beaten 6-1 by defending champion Sal Feliecia of Montclair.

Rio Mesa's Benji Gomez dominated Murphy 12-2 in the third-place bout, and both will join Teitelman in the 125 bracket at Fountain Valley.

Simi Valley and Moorpark each sent three to the Masters. Murphy is joined by teammates Matt Bruno (fourth at 160) and Dan Stoner ston·er
