All postseason matches begin at 7 p.m.

The Highlanders (23-0) received the top seed for the first time in the program's 13 years of existence. They go up against an Eagles (12-5) team that captured its first playoff victory in only the program's second season Wednesday with a wild-card win over Valencia.

Second-seeded Loyola (14-0) hosts Marmonte runner-up Thousand Oaks Thousand Oaks, residential city (1990 pop. 104,352), Ventura co., S Calif., in a farm area; inc. 1964. Avocados, citrus, vegetables, strawberries, and nursery products are grown.  (12-5), which beat Camarillo in a wild-card match.

Harvard-Westlake (12-3), which finished behind Loyola in the Mission League, travels to Suburban League champ Cerritos (13-6). Crescenta Valley The Crescenta Valley is a small inland valley in Los Angeles County, California. Its name derives from its crescent-like shape, with the convex portion facing roughly northeast and the concave portion southwest.  (8-6) is also on the road after winning its wild-card match against Montebello. The Falcons face Claremont, which finished 14-0 in the Baseline League.

In Division II, two third-place teams in their respective leagues are on the road in the first round.

Calabasas (8-9) faces Culver City Culver City, city (1990 pop. 38,793), Los Angeles co., S Calif., a residential suburb of Los Angeles; inc. 1917. It is a center of the U.S. motion-picture industry, whose roots in the city date to c.1915.
