ROUSSEVE PREMIERE.


David Rousseve/REALITY performs the New York premiere of Rousseve's Love Songs at Brooklyn Academy of Music Brooklyn Academy of Music, performing arts center located in the borough of Brooklyn, N.Y. and popularly known as BAM. Founded in 1859 and opened in 1861, it is the oldest such institution still in operation in the United States. , December 8 through 11. Set in an abandoned ballroom, the work is a bittersweet bittersweet, name for two unrelated plants, belonging to different families, both fall-fruiting woody vines sometimes cultivated for their decorative scarlet berries.  exploration of love and adversity centered around the love story of two African slaves. The cast of twenty-seven will include twenty people from the community as well as six-foot puppets of "hounds from hell," created with the assistance of the Jim Henson Foundation The Jim Henson Foundation was founded by puppeteer and Muppet creator Jim Henson to promote and develop puppetry in the United States. It is the only grantmaking institution with this mission.

Its president is Cheryl Henson, Jim Henson's daughter.
