After a sluggish start in its Southern Section Division V-AA playoff opener against Valley Torah, Campbell Hall Campbell Hall can refer to:
  • a residence hall at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)
  • Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood, California
 outscored the Patriots by 15 points in the second quarter to spark a 51-38 boys' basketball win at home.

The Vikings ignited their second-quarter run with good defense and an up-tempo offense. Josh Glass scored eight of his game-high 22 points in the period. Ronnie Polk added 13 points.

Weber State 61, Cal State Northridge 39: The Matadors (4-20, 2-11) suffered their 11th Big Sky Conference defeat and eighth loss at home this season as Weber State improved to 13-11, 7-6.

Tammie Mills led Northridge with 17 points and Bambi Bowling had a team-high eight rebounds for the Matadors, who were coached by assistant Lindsay Strothers. Head coach Michael Abrahams is in Oregon with his father, who is recovering from open-heart surgery open-heart surgery

MEN'S BASEBALL

Glendale 11, Cerritos 10: Karl Castro's two-out, bases-loaded double drove in two runs to tie the game at 10, then Brian Eggleston's infield single scored the winning run as the Vaqueros (11-5) overcame a five-run ninth-inning deficit at Glendale. Castro, a former Burroughs High outfielder, went 4 for 4.

Ventura 12, Canyons 11: Jeremy Pierce threw a 10-inning complete game for Ventura, allowing 18 hits. He also hit a home run and double as the Pirates (10-3) pulled out the win.

Robbie Rehfeld had four hits and Jesse Daggett and Jeremy Seipel added three hits apiece for Canyons (10-4).
