Montclair Prep 12, Pasadena Poly 5: Andrew Miller homered twice and drove in five runs and Clemente Ortega had three hits and two RBI as the Mounties (10-8) won a nonleague game in Pasadena.

Burbank 14, Valencia 0: Leonard Silva struck out nine in five innings, and Freddy Sanchez had four hits, including a triple, and five RBI for the Bulldogs (7-8, 5-3) in a Foothill League game.

Eagle Rock 5, Wilson 4: Marco Hernandez struck out 11 and hit a two-run single and Chris Campos hit a three-run home run to lead the Eagles (11-2, 8-1) to a Northern Conference win at home.

Franklin 3, Verdugo Hills 1: Jimmy Stevenson homered for the Dons' only run in their Northern Conference loss at Franklin. Bryan Fannon went 2 for 3 for Verdugo Hills (5-7, 5-5).

JC BASEBALL Glendale 21, Mission 12: Dave Boger went 4 for 5, including two home runs and four RBI, and Brett Niles had three hits and six RBI to help the Vaqueros win a WSC WSC Winter Symposium on Chemometrics
