The domination continues.

As if the second-ranked Kennedy High School baseball team needed any more firepower, pitcher Derek Morse hurled a no-hitter and contributed a home run in the Cougars' 20-0 win over Taft on Monday in Granada Hills.

Morse struck out 12 and faced just 22 batters, one over the minimum, and hit his first career homer in the Northwest Valley Conference game. Jon Garland Jon Steven Garland (born September 27, 1979 in Valencia, California) is a right-handed starting pitcher in Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox.

Garland was selected by the Chicago Cubs with the 10th pick of the 1997 amateur draft.
 hit two massive homers in the fifth inning for Kennedy (9-1, 5-0), both over the left-field fence. The Cougars scored 10 times in the inning.
