The Chargers, ranked No. 2 in Southern Section Division IV, rolled up 527 yards to overwhelm the Spartans 55-12 in a nonleague game Friday night at Rio Mesa. Quarterback Shane Lopes completed 12 of 19 passes for 328 yards and five touchdowns, as nearly all of Dos Pueblos' (7-0) drives featured a play of 50 yards or longer. Rio Mesa (4-3) gained 208 yards but Spartans quarterback Brian DiDimizio struggled; he completed only five of 17 passes for 28 yards and was intercepted twice.
