ROUNDUP: BURROUGHS FAVORED IN DE BELL TOURNAMENT.

Burroughs High of Burbank junior Jeff Looby bids for his third consecutive individual championship in the De Bell Invitational today at De Bell Golf Course, where his Indians also are expected to make a strong run at the team title.

Looby is coming off a season-best score of 70 Monday, when he led Burroughs (10-4) to a season-low team total in a 380-424 nonleague win over Foothill League rival Saugus (11-5) at De Bell.

Burroughs, which placed second by three strokes behind defending league champion Hart of Newhall in the first of five league tournaments, sends Austin Radaker (74 against Saugus), Mitch Johnson Mitchell Allen Johnson (born March 1, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois) was an American football offensive lineman in the NFL for four different teams.
