ROUNDUP: AYE-DARKO HELPS CHAMINADE PAST BOLSA GRANDE.

Byline: Daily News

Adrian Aye-Darko scored 17 points and Marcus Everett added 14 for visiting Chaminade of West Hills, which defeated Bolsa Grande of Garden Grove 78-47 on Wednesday in a Division III-A first-round game.

``We jumped out to a lead and pressed them throughtout,'' Chaminade coach Bryan Cantwell said. ``The thing with our team is Adrian Aye-Darko is back and that picks up our defensive intensity.

``We have a lot of seniors and they played great. They went hard and other players are stepping up because of it. Our preseason schedule prepared us for the playoffs and we're confident. We know we can play with anyone. We're going to go in and battle in the next round.''

The victory at Bolsa Grande lifted the Eagles' record to 17-10 this season.
