Robert Rosen (27 June, 1934, - 28 December, 1998, Rochester, New York) was an American theoretical biologist and professor of Biophysics at Dalhousie
 is the new dean of the UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles

 School of Theater, Film and Television, it was announced Tuesday.

Rosen has served as chair of the school's Department of Film and Television since June 1991, and as director of the UCLA Film and Television Archive for more than 20 years. He came to the university in 1975 with a specialization in film and television history, criticism and theory, historiography and media curatorship.
