Rose Society hosts its annual rose garden tours at the homes of three of its members. The tour of the first garden will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the home of Ron and Akiko Strathmann, 29334 Canyon Rim Place, Canyon Country. Although the Strathmanns have grown roses for little more than two years, they have amassed more than 300 roses. The second garden on the tour is at the home of Bob and Kitty Belendez, 21133 Kingscrest Drive, Saugus, which will be open to visitors from noon to 2 p.m. The Belendezes have more than 350 roses of all types - the highlight of their yard is a swimming pool with a natural rock waterfall and rose motif. The third garden, open from 2 to 4 p.m., is at the home of Charles and Susan Maness, 28316 Contessa Ave., Saugus, where visitors are welcomed through a front-gate arch covered with the red roses of two Altissimo Al`tis´si`mo n. 1.
