ROSE PARADE RIDERS TO GIVE SHOW UNDER THE EQUIDOME.Byline: Alex Dobuzinskis Staff Writer BURBANK - Equestrian teams entered in the Rose Parade will show off their best stuff today in a festival at the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. Equestfest will feature acrobatic riders, trick ropers and historical demonstrations, including a team that will show how firefighters responded to blazes back when horses still pulled fire engines. All but three of the 26 equestrian teams performing in the 116th annual Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade The Tournament of Roses Parade was established, and first held, on January 1,1890, in Pasadena, California, eight miles (13 km) northeast of Downtown Los Angeles. Rooted in tradition, this parade is broadcast on multiple television networks, watched by upwards of one will participate in the Equestfest show. ``It's an opportunity for them to showcase what it is they do. ...
