       ROHR NAMES MARK C. BERGHERR MANAGER OF CORPORATE RELATIONS
    CHULA VISTA, Calif., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Rohr Inc. (NYSE: RHR) has named Mark C. Bergherr as manager of corporate relations.
    Reporting to the director of corporate relations, he is involved in all aspects of corporate communications with a primary focus on community and media relations.  He previously held the position of marketing manager for Rohr's government business.
    Bergherr, 39, joined Rohr three years ago from Lockheed Corp., where he was manager of Navy aircraft programs in the Washington D.C. office.
    A native of Minneapolis, Bergherr received a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Minnesota in 1975 and spent seven years in the military as a naval aviator.  He earned a master's in business administration from the Claremont Graduate School's Peter Drucker Management Center in 1988.
    Rohr designs, integrates, manufactures and supports aircraft engine nacelle systems and components for commercial, military and business aircraft.  Rohr, headquartered in Chula Vista, has facilities in the United States and Europe.
