    Robinson, who played at Littlerock as a sophomore, then transferred to Chatsworth for his junior year an is regarded as the best player in the region, left Chatsworth in September after an altercation with another student.

    He returned to Littlerock but was not granted eligibility under Southern Section transfer rules. Robinson, a 6-foot-5 forward, has moved into the Sylmar district with his grandmother, his legal guardian, according to Escoto.

    His eligibility will be decided by the Los Angeles Unified School District The Los Angeles Unified School District (the "LAUSD") is the largest (in terms of number of students) public school system in California and the second-largest in the United States. Only the New York City Department of Education has a larger student population.  at a hearing to be determined.

    ``I am as excited about Frank being here as his English teacher, because right now his basketball status still remains to be seen,'' Escoto said. ``We'll just have to wait and see what happens.''
