ROBERT GETT ELECTED TO BOARD OF CAMBRIDGE TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS (CTP,INC.)
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Gett was recently elected to the Board of Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP, Inc.), Cambridge, Mass. The announcement was made today by James K. Sims, president and CEO of CTP, Inc., and Chairman of the Board, Warren V. Musser.
Gett has served as CTP's executive vice president of operations since Aug. 1990 and is responsible for managing the execution of all CTP client engagements as well as directing CTP's software tools and technology strategies. James Sims commented, "Bob is a natural choice for the board; he participated in the launch of CTP, Inc., back in March 1991 and since then he has played an integral role in strategizing new services and deliverables to enhance CTP's professional service business."
Gett brings over 17 years of executive project management experience to CTP's Board. "Bob has a solid understanding of the issues that CIO's are struggling with because of his own experience as a CIO and a Principal consultant; this combination gives him a unique advantage," commented Sims.
Previously, Gett served as president of Fidelity Software Development Company, the systems and technology services unit of Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for defining business system strategy, identifying and implementing new technologies, and implementation of major application systems. Gett also served as the chief information officer of Smith Barney, Harris Upham and Principal at Nolan, Norton & Company.
CTP, Inc. is a professional services organization specializing in assessing, structuring and implementing Open Systems, Client/Server strategy and applications.
