 ROBERT B. GREEN PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT
 AND GENERAL MANAGER, WIOD/WFLC(FM), MIAMI
 ATLANTA, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert B. Green has been promoted to vice president and general manager of WIOD/WFLC(FM) in Miami, effective immediately.
 Green was formerly station manager of WSB AM-FM, Atlanta. The announcement was made by Robert F. Neil, executive vice president-radio for the broadcasting division of Cox Enterprises, Inc.
 Green succeeds Michael G. Disney, who was promoted to vice president and general manager of WCKG(FM) in Chicago.
 In making the announcement, Neil said: "Bob brings 15 years of radio and management experience to this position, and he has a proven ability to improve profitability at radio stations in major markets. We're pleased that we can promote within our own group of talented managers to fill the top position in Miami."
 Green joined Cox in 1991 as station manager at WSB AM-FM. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of WYAY/WYAI in Atlanta for five years. Prior to that, he was general sales manager at WWKA in Orlando, Fla. He also has experience as local sales manager at WEZN in Bridgeport, Conn., and as account executive at WRAL in Raleigh, N.C.
 A native of Freeport, N.Y., Green graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1977 with a bachelor of science degree in economics.
 Cox's radio group includes KFI/KOST(FM), Los Angeles; WHIO/WHKO(FM), Dayton, Ohio; WSB AM-FM, Atlanta; WSOC(FM), Charlotte, N.C.; WSUN/WWRM(FM), Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla.; WCKG(FM), Chicago; WIOD/WFLC(FM), Miami; and KLRX(FM), Dallas. Cox Broadcasting also includes television stations in Atlanta; Charlotte; Dayton; Detroit; Orlando, Fla.; Pittsburgh and San Francisco-Oakland; and TeleRep, the national television sales representation firm, whose programming arm produces syndicated television programs.
