ROBBERY SUSPECT TO BE ARRAIGNED.

BURBANK - A Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  man is scheduled to be arraigned today on charges of robbery and evading police after holding up a fast-food restaurant, then fleeing to a local hospital to escape arrest, officials said Wednesday.

 police, Scott Joseph, 40, went on a robbery spree Tuesday night shortly after he checked his mother-in-law into Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center is a hospital in Burbank, California, USA. The hospital has 455 beds, and is part of Providence Health & Services. It's adress is: 501 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank, CA 91505. .

While his mother-in-law and his wife were waiting for him at the hospital - thinking he had gone out to get some food - Joseph tried to rob a Taco Bell Taco Bell Corp., a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., is a Mexican-style quick service restaurant chain based in Irvine, California, United States. The restaurant has locations primarily in the United States and Canada, but also operates outlets in several other markets.  in the 4300 block of West Magnolia Boulevard, but a worker called 911, police said.

Ten minutes later, Joseph targeted a Del Taco Del Taco is a chain of North American fast-food restaurants specializing in Mexican-style offerings as well as American foods such as burgers, fries and shakes.

The first Del Taco restaurant was founded in Yermo, California in 1961 by Ed Hackbarth and David Jameson.
 in the 3700 block of West Verdugo Avenue and successfully got away with some money, police said.

Descriptions of the robbery suspect were broadcast to patrol officers who ultimately tracked him down at the hospital.

``They detained him and arrested him in the ER area. At that same moment in time, the suspect's wife sees her husband in custody,'' said Sgt. Bill Taylor.

Scott was being held in lieu of $35,000 bail.
