ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED; SECOND MAN SOUGHT IN STRING OF INCIDENTS.

In one case, a victim was stabbed, but the person's injuries were not serious, said Detective Rick Jamieson, of the North Hollywood Division.

The robberies occurred on two days - Sept. 12 and Monday, Jamieson said. In most cases, the robbers targeted people getting in or out of their vehicles or homes.

Within three hours on Sept. 12, the suspect robbed seven victims on the street - five in North Hollywood and two in Burbank, Jamieson said. Two suspects were seen in the robberies.

``They got $40 here and $100 there, maybe $1,000 in total,'' Jamieson said.

A witness got a license plate off the getaway vehicle, which turned out to be stolen, police said.

Early Monday, three more people were robbed within 15 minutes.

At about 12:30 a.m. Monday, Burbank officers spotted the vehicle driving in the 11600 block of Burbank Boulevard and arrested the suspect, police said. Inside the car, a knife and gun were found, along with the victims' identifications.

``We've pretty well determined that he's responsible,'' Jamieson said.

The suspect was being held at Van Nuys jail in lieu of Instead of; in place of; in substitution of. It does not mean in addition to.  $385,000 bail.
