Wilson was forced into a pickup truck driver's lane when a big rig moved into his lane, Hahn said. The move irked the pickup driver and ``we had a verbal confrontation ... along with hand gestures.''

He returned to his truck and called 911, and Wilson was stopped about 10 miles to the south near Parker Road in Castaic. Wilson is 68 and from out of state, but Hahn would not reveal his home state, citing a new CHP policy that prohibits officers from revealing that information.
