ROAD SLATED TO RECEIVE NEW PAVING.

Work is scheduled to begin next month on a $1.2 million project to widen and improve a busy stretch of Castaic Road, officials said Wednesday.

Security Paving Co., a 50-year-old construction firm based in Sun Valley, beat out three other bidders for the contract.
