ROAD REPORT.Byline: The Register-Guard Major road work by Lane County, the cities of Eugene and Springfield, and the state Department of Transportation for the week of July 2: EUGENE Hilyard Street from 13th to 18th avenues: Road closed to through traffic until Aug. 1. Motorists should use High Street for northbound traffic and Patterson or Pearl streets for southbound south·bound adj. Going toward the south. southbound Adjective going towards the south Adj. 1. traffic. Sidewalks will remain open but the sidewalk access ramps at each corner along Hilyard Street will be closed. Hilyard Street at 18th Avenue: Intersection is open to traffic east, west and south. Some construction traffic and flagging. No access to Hilyard Street north of 18th. Hilyard Street from 18th Avenue to 24th Avenue: Some work by utility companies particularly from 23rd to 24th avenues. Roads will remain open for traffic. Bikes may need to merge with auto traffic; expect delays and flaggers. Hilyard Street at 24th Avenue: Hilyard Street closed to through traffic at 24th Avenue from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Access to local businesses will be maintained, and 24th Avenue will remain open to east-west traffic although motorists may encounter occasional delays near the work zone. Northbound and southbound traffic on Hilyard Street use alternative routes. Eighth Avenue and Ferry Street Ferry Street (Chinese: 渡船街) is a street between Ferry Point and Mong Kok Tsui in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The street was on the shore of old reclamation before the new West Kowloon reclamation in 1990s. : The one-block section of Eighth Avenue between Mill and Ferry streets and the one-block section of Ferry Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue will be closed until the end of July during courthouse-area transportation improvements. Motorists will be able to access businesses and residences on Eighth Avenue east of Ferry Street via Hilyard Street north of Broadway. Polk Street Polk Street is a street in San Francisco that travels northward from Market Street to Jefferson Street. It's attractions are the See's Candy flagship store at California Street, and is usually cleaned every Saturday by the neighborhood organization. from 12th Avenue to 18th Avenue: Watch for lane closures, lane changes and times when only one-way traffic will be allowed. Bikes use caution when entering work zone at Amazon Bridge. Expect truck traffic. 43rd Avenue between Fox Hollow Road and Donald Street: Closed to through traffic until July 14. Fern Ridge Path: City View Street to Garfield Street and Chambers Street Chambers Street is a street in Edinburgh, Scotland, at south of the Old Town. Oakway Road from Fairway Loop to Coburg Road: Watch for lane closures and lane changes. Concrete work and manhole adjustments will begin Monday and continue through end of work week. Expect truck traffic. Franklin Boulevard from 13th Avenue to E. 11th Avenue: Westbound lane closures; watch for lane changes and flaggers. Motorists should be aware of lane shift and new lane configuration between Gateway Street and Game Farm Road. Game Farm Road, Belt Line Road to Deadmond Ferry Road Ferry Road is one of the major roads of Edinburgh, Scotland, and is often referred to as an area in its own right. It runs from the eastern end of Davidson's Mains village in the west, to Leith in the east, passing through Goldenacre on the way. : Closed until further notice. Pioneer Parkway East, Q Street to Hayden Bridge Way: Roadway is closed to north of the entrance to the Pioneer Plaza Shopping Center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into . Wayside Lane, Hayden Bridge to Seward Avenue: Wayside Lane is closed to traffic at Hayden Bridge Way. Motorists should use the detour route on Castle Drive and Seward Lane to access Wayside Lane. VALLEY RIVER Delta Highway The Delta Highway is a short limited-access freeway in Eugene, Oregon, United States, linking downtown Eugene with the Beltline Highway, northern Eugene and the Riverridge golf course to the north. , Green Acres Road to Interstate 105: Work to be done between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should expect intermittent lane and ramp closures. COTTAGE GROVE/DORENA AREA Sharps Creek at Milepost 6.48: Traffic restricted to a single lane with self-regulated traffic control signing. Expect minor delays. INTERSTATE 5 Belt Line interchange: Contractor will work nights this week on the I-5 detour bridge over Game Farm Road. No traffic delays are anticipated, but shoulder closures may be in place. Expect occasional lane closures and minimal delays. The speed limit has been reduced through the construction area. About a mile south of Creswell, southbound traffic will be in a two-lane detour while crew demolish and reconstruct existing River Drive overpass. Row River and Overflow bridges, between Cottage Grove and Saginaw interchange:The project consists of removal and reconstruction of southbound and northbound Row River and Overflow bridges on I-5, along with minor roadway and shoulder reconstruction. Contractor will continue removing the detour bridge across the Row River and remove roadway sections on the south end. Watch for trucks entering and leaving project area. I-5 overpass (Creswell) and Hill Creek Bridge: Contractor will be forming columns for Oregon Avenue overcrossing of I-5 and finish installation of demolition containment system for Hill Creek Bridge on the Springfield-Creswell Highway. No lane closures allowed on I-5 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Detours may be in effect. HIGHWAY 58 Odell Creek-Crescent Creek, Willamette Pass Willamette Pass (el. 5128 ft.) is a mountain pass in the Cascade Mountains in the U.S. state of Oregon. The pass is traversed by Oregon Route 58. Willamette Pass ski area is located there. Highway: Temporary signals are now controlling traffic flow at the bridges over Crescent Creek and Odell Creek, east of Willamette Pass Ski Area Willamette Pass is a ski area located in the Willamette and Deschutes National Forests in the Cascade Range of Oregon. The summit elevation of the ski area is 6683 ft (2037 m), and the total vertical rise from the base is 1563 ft (476 m). . Expect delays. HIGHWAY 126 EAST Glenwood, Springfield and Vida: Paving on Main Street between 20th and 72nd streets. Expect lane closures on Main Street in Springfield through the end of August. Most paving will take place at night from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. with miscellaneous work performed during the day.
