ROAD REPORT.

Here's a look at major road construction this week around the region. Weather conditions may cause delays.

Eugene-Springfield

Garden Way between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Commons Drive: Road will remain closed to through traffic. Only local residential traffic and patients of the chiropractic chiropractic (kīrəprăk`tĭk) [Gr.,=doing by hand], medical practice based on the theory that all disease results from a disruption of the functions of the nerves.  and sports medicine sports medicine, branch of medicine concerned with physical fitness and with the treatment and prevention of injuries and other disorders related to sports. All other traffic should use alternate north-south routes such as Coburg Road or Pioneer Parkway.

Oakway Road: Crews will finish crack sealing the south end of Oakway, then move to Oakmont. Watch for lane detours and reduced speeds.

Gilham and Cal Young roads: Milling and paving work scheduled from Coburg Road to Willagillespie. Once paving is completed on Cal Young, work will shift to Gilham Road from Belt Line Road to Cal Young. Expect occasional delays and lane detours.

Crescent Avenue: Street repairs between Coburg Road and Crescent will affect westbound traffic. Watch for lane detours and reduced speeds in the construction zones.

Country Club Road in Eugene: Crack sealing throughout the week on easterly end from Southwood to Club Way. Expect slowdowns and lane restrictions.

Interstate 5: Work continues on detour bridges at Mileposts 192-193 and 197-198. Paving continues on Willamette detour bridge approaches, with possible lane closures at night in the area.  will be placed on Thursday; traffic may be delayed on McKenzie View Drive.

Jasper Road extension: Work continues on widening the intersection of Highway 126 and Main Street this week, with construction on the center median of Highway 126 north of Main Street. Florence area

Clear Lake Road: Excavation work and fill continues on road-widening project between Canary Road and Jensen Lane, with installation of storm drainage pipe also scheduled for this week. Expect 10-15 minute delays.

Highway 126 West: Retrofitting of bridge rails on seven bridges continues from mileposts 26 to 33. Watch for flaggers and pilot cars, and expect delays of 20 minutes.

Walton area

Nelson Mountain Road: Replacement of the Chickahominy Creek bridge gets underway this week with work beginning on a temporary one-lane detour bridge.

Dexter/Oakridge area

Highway 58: Work continues from Dexter Park Dexter Park may refer to two U.S. horse racing tacks:

 to Kitson Ridge Road The name Ridge Road can refer to multiple streets and roads. Canada
  • In the Ontario township of The Nation, Ridge Road is an east-west street located seven miles north of Highway 417.

Highway 58: Construction continues between Mileposts 39 and 56. Work will occur at several locations on the project, with traffic controlled by flaggers and pilot cars. Expect delays up to 20 minutes.

East Lane County

McKenzie Highway: Work continues between mileposts 13 and 20. Mostly night work, with traffic controlled by flaggers and pilot cars; expect delays up to 20 minutes.

Highway 126: Bridge joint work at night on bridges over the Willamette between Springfield and Glenwood. traffic may be restricted to one lane, with flaggers. Expect minimal delays.

South Lane County

Interstate 5: Reconstruction underway at the intersection of Gateway Boulevard Gateway Boulevard is a major one-way street in Edmonton, Alberta. It is part of the Alberta provincial highway 2. It's a northbound road and it runs parallel with Calgary Trail, which is the southbound part of Highway 2.  and the Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery).  connector road with the I-5 sounthbound on-and-off ramps at Cottage Grove. Watch for flaggers; expect minor delays.
