Here's a look at major road construction this week around the region. Weather conditions may cause delays.

Dexter

Highway 58: Repaving continues from Dexter Park Dexter Park may refer to two U.S. horse racing tacks:

 to Kitson Ridge Road The name Ridge Road can refer to multiple streets and roads. Canada
  • In the Ontario township of The Nation, Ridge Road is an east-west street located seven miles north of Highway 417.
, Mileposts 11 to 39. Expect heavy traffic with closed lanes and 20-minute delays, from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays. Watch for signs, flaggers and workers. Use alternate routes An official alternate route is a bannered highway that provides an alternate alignment for a highway. Originally, the term for these routes was "optional"; but in 1959, the designation became alternate. , if possible.

East Lane County

Highway 58: Construction work from Kitson Ridge to the West Salt Creek Salt Creek refers to:

Rivers
  • Salt Creek (Des Plaines River Tributary), Illinois

City
  • Salt Creek, Colorado
Townships
 Tunnel (Mileposts 56 to 39) includes addition of passing lanes, highway widening, new fish culverts, signs and guardrails. Expect 20-minute delays, with flaggers and pilot cars directing traffic.

Elmira

Territorial Highway: Construction of left-turn lane at Warthen Road as well as curbs, sidewalks and a pedestrian island at a school crossing. Expect daytime delays up to 20 minutes all week.

Finn Rock

McKenzie Highway 126: Guardrail and bridge work continues from Milepost 38 to Milepost 55. Expect minor delays; watch for signs, flaggers and workers alongside the road.

Goshen

Highway 99: Repaving and safety improvements continue between Highway 58 and the Springfield-Creswell Highway. This week's work includes building a new end panel at the Coast Fork Willamette River The Coast Fork Willamette River is one of several forks that unite to form the Willamette River in western Oregon in the United States. It is approximately 55 mi (89 km) long, draining an area of the mountains at the south end of the Willamette Valley south of Eugene.  bridge east of Creswell.

Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley,  

Highway 99 West: Expect night-time lane closures and delays up to 20 minutes from Flat Creek Bridge to West Third Avenue, with one-lane traffic each direction and no left turns allowed in the construction zone. Take access across the work area at First Avenue on the south and 10th Avenue on the north.

Marcola

Marcola Road: Paving under way from Sunderman Road to Shadows Drive, as well as guardrail installation, finishing of ditches and roadside slopes and clean-up. Flaggers control traffic; 10- to 15-minute delays possible.

Marcola Road: Installation of curbs and sidewalks between Wendling Road and Railroad Lane, as part of total roadway reconstruction. Delays up to 20 minutes possible; watch for flaggers. Through traffic to Sweet Home should seek alternate routes, if possible, during contractor hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Irvington Drive: Installation of storm sewers storm sewer

 continues this week, from Northwest Expressway Northwest Expressway may refer to:
  • A section of U.S. Route 3 in the Boston area
  • A section of Oklahoma State Highway 3 in the Oklahoma City area
  • Northwest Expressway (Baltimore), Maryland, also known as I-795
  • Northwest Expressway (Eugene, Oregon)
 to Willowbrook Street. Utility work continues at the east end of the project near River Road. Expect 20-minute delays and watch for flaggers. Use other roads, if possible.

River Road: Reconstruction continues between Carthage Avenue and Beacon Drive, with installation of storm sewers continuing this week. Flaggers control traffic; expect delays up to 20 minutes.

Seavey Loop

Seavey Way: Demolition of old Frank Parrish Bridge begins this week, with traffic diverted to new detour bridge. Flaggers on site; expect minimal delays.

South Lane County

Interstate 5: Work continues on demolition of the old Coast Fork Willamette River Bridge at about Milepost 180, with traffic detoured onto a temporary bridge. Watch for trucks and other construction vehicles in the work zone.

Springfield

McKenzie Highway 126: One-lane traffic Monday through Friday on the westbound bridge across the Willamette River Willamette River

River, northwestern Oregon, U.S. It flows north for 300 mi (485 km) into the Columbia River near Portland. Oregon's most populous cities are in its valley. The Fremont Bridge, a steel arch with a main span of 1,225 ft (373 m), crosses the river at Portland.

42nd Street: A concrete pathway is being placed through Tuesday. Trucks will enter and leave via 42nd Street and Highway 126. Five-minute delays.

32nd Street, south of Main Street: Water lines are being placed in anticipation of street construction in the coming weeks. There will be a closure of South 32nd Street near the railroad tracks Tuesday and Wednesday; detour to 42nd Street.
