CITY OF EUGENE

Country Club Road, between Willagillespie Road and Southwood Lane - Work will include manhole adjustments and installation of pedestrian crossing islands. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts. Two-way traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect short to moderate delays.

Crescent Avenue, between Shadow View and Coburg Road - Top lift paving is scheduled for Monday. During paving expect heavy delays and use alternate routes An official alternate route is a bannered highway that provides an alternate alignment for a highway. Originally, the term for these routes was "optional"; but in 1959, the designation became alternate.  if possible. After Monday, the work will include manhole adjustments; expect slight to moderate delays. Flagged two-way traffic will be allowed at all times.

Danebo Road, between West 11th and Royal avenues - Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures and lane shifts. Two-way traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect short, intermittent intermittent /in·ter·mit·tent/ (-mit´ent) marked by alternating periods of activity and inactivity.

Elmira Road and Maple Street - Heavy construction begins Monday. Installation of the underground storm system will occur from Roosevelt to Elmira on Maple Street and then along Elmira Street. The road will be closed to through-traffic.

Eugene Airport Eugene Airport (IATA: EUG, ICAO: KEUG), also known as Mahlon Sweet Field, is a public airport located 7 miles (11 km) northwest of Eugene, in Lane County, Oregon.  - Watch for construction equipment and trucks traveling to and from the Eugene Airport from Airport Road to Northrop Drive.

Fox Hollow Road, between East Amazon Drive and Donald Street - Work will include manhole adjustments. Closures to through-traffic will alternate on two sections of Fox Hollow Road between East 43rd Avenue and East 46th Avenue, and East 46th Avenue and Donald Street, with detours implemented. Local traffic will have access at all times. The section of Fox Hollow Road between 43rd Avenue and East Amazon Drive will be open to two-way traffic at all times.

Roosevelt Boulevard The following roads are called Roosevelt Boulevard:
  • Roosevelt Boulevard (Jacksonville) in Jacksonville, Florida
  • Roosevelt Boulevard (Philadelphia) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Roosevelt Boulevard (St. Petersburg) in St.
 between Maple Street and Belt Line Road - Work may include corrective grinding work between Bertelsen Road and Belt Line. Watch for construction equipment traffic, lane closures, and lane shifts. Two-way traffic will be allowed at all times. Expect short, intermittent delays.

Royal Avenue, between Waite and Terry streets - Work will include manhole adjustments, striping Interleaving or multiplexing data to increase speed. See disk striping.

LANE COUNTY

Cedar Flat (Deerhorn Road) - Guardrail installation and adjustment from Highway 126 to Milepost 3.8. Traffic through construction area will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays.

Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery).  Area (Martin Creek Road at Milepost 0.7) - A fish culvert will be installed. Road will be opened to one-lane traffic. Expect 10-15 minute delays.

Creswell (Harvey Road) - Road construction and pipe installation from Highway 99 to Scott Avenue. Traffic through construction area will be controlled by flaggers, as necessary. Expect minimal delays. A detour route has been posted from First Avenue to Auburn Auburn (ô`bərn).

Westfir-Oakridge (Office Covered Bridge) - Office Covered Bridge located on Old Mill Road at the intersection with Westfir-Oakridge Road is temporarily closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the painting of the structure. Foot and bike traffic may use detour routes to connect with area trails. Project signage indicates detour routes.

 Highway 58 has shifted one-third mile north of its previous location, to just past the 30th Avenue overpass. Watch for signs and message boards directing traffic to this new alignment. Watch for nighttime single-lane closures in each direction to accommodate paving. The westbound Highway 58 to southbound I-5 on-ramp is closed. Signs direct traffic to use Cloverdale Road or the I-5 ramp to Franklin Boulevard.

 at Franklin Boulevard (Milepost 188) - Weather permitting, the northbound I-5 off-ramp to Franklin Boulevard will be closed the week of Monday, June 15. Watch for signs directing traffic to a temporary detour route one mile north at the 30th Avenue exit (exit 189).

Franklin Boulevard under I-5 - Watch for roadside workers and construction equipment. Watch for traffic occasionally controlled by flaggers. Expect brief delays for bridge work.

Belt Line Road at Coburg Road Interchange - This project realigns the eastbound off-ramp onto Coburg Road, adding turn lanes and storage for stopped vehicles. Completion date for this contract is Dec. 31. Construction will begin later this summer; the exact dates are not known at this time.

Highway 58 between Goshen and Oakridge - This project will replace or repair five bridges along Highway 58 between Goshen and Oakridge. The bridges are just east of Goshen; just east of the I-5 and Highway 58 interchange; the Union Pacific Railroad Union Pacific Railroad, transportation company chartered (1862) by Congress to build part of the nation's first transcontinental railroad line. Under terms of the Pacific Railroads Act, the Union Pacific was authorized to build a line westward from Omaha, Nebr.  Bridge near Pleasant Hill; the Lost Creek Bridge The Lost Creek Bridge is a covered bridge located near Lake Creek, Oregon, United States. The bridge is about 11.89 meters (39 feet) long, possibly making it the shortest covered bridge in Oregon.  west of Lowell; and a bridge over a private logging road near Oakridge. Two-lane traffic will be maintained between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. seven days a week.

Highway 126 - This project includes new pavement, guardrail, retaining walls, signs, striping and bridge work on Highway 126 between Milepost 7 and Milepost 26.5. There will be regular one-lane closures through October. Work will be performed both day and night including 24-hour flagging at times. Watch for flaggers directing traffic and for trucks entering and exiting the highway. Expect regular 10- to 20-minute delays and allow for extra time when traveling to and from the coast. Travelers to and from the Reedsport area should consider taking Highway 38 with I-5 access at Curtin.

Highway 126 - This project replaces a bridge located on Highway 126 over the North Fork North Fork, river, c.100 mi (160 km) long, rising in the Ozarks, S Mo., and flowing S, into N Ark., to the White River. Near its mouth is Norfolk Dam (completed 1944), which impounds Norfolk Lake and has a power plant.  of the Siuslaw River The Siuslaw River (pronounced sigh YOU slaw) is a river, approximately 110 mi (177 km) long, along the Pacific coast of Oregon in the United States. It drains an area of approximately 4560 sq mi (11900 km²) in the Central Oregon Coast Range southwest of the Willamette  just east of Florence. There will be occasional one-lane closures on this project. Watch for flaggers directing traffic and for trucks entering and exiting the highway. Boaters should pay attention to the signs on the existing bridge and work bridge directing them to the boating channel.

Highway 101 - Siuslaw River Bridge The Siuslaw River Bridge is a bascule bridge that spans the Siuslaw River in Florence, Oregon. It was designed by Conde McCullough, built by the Mercer-Fraser Company of Eureka, California, and funded by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works (later renamed the Public : This project includes major structural, mechanical and electrical upgrades to the existing draw bridge over the Siuslaw River in Florence. There will be occasional one-lane closures at night. Watch for flaggers directing traffic and for trucks entering and exiting the highway. Boaters should pay attention to the signs on the existing bridge and work bridge directing them to the boating channel. At least one lift span of the bridge will remain in operation for the duration of the project.

 - This project will replace three I-5 bridges and repair two other I-5 bridges near Cottage Grove (I-5 Milepost 174 through Milepost 172). There will be alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers on Main Street above the overpass in Cottage Grove during daytime hours the week of June 15.

Northbound and southbound I-5 over Coast Fork Willamette River The Coast Fork Willamette River is one of several forks that unite to form the Willamette River in western Oregon in the United States. It is approximately 55 mi (89 km) long, draining an area of the mountains at the south end of the Willamette Valley south of Eugene.  - Watch for roadside work crews, and construction vehicles entering and exiting the travel lanes.

Saginaw Road Bridge over I-5 - Drivers using the Saginaw Road overpass should expect daytime alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers, and up to 20-minute delays Monday through Friday. Watch for roadside work crews and equipment in the work zone.

Northbound and Southbound I-5 over Brown Creek - Watch for intermittent single-lane closures Monday through Friday and roadside work crews, and construction vehicles entering and exiting the travel lanes. Gettings Creek Rest Area on southbound I-5 is closed for maintenance and nearby construction work until Oct. 31. Services are available at Cabin Creek Rest Area 35 miles south.
