ROAD CLOSURES SET NEXT WEEK.Byline: Daily News VALENCIA - Drivers should prepare for delays caused by freeway closures over the next week as construction continues on the $24 million Golden State Freeway/Highway 126 interchange improvements. There will be no closures Wednesday, in observance of the Cesar Chavez Day State holiday in California observed on March 31. Cesar Chavez's Birthday. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger suspended observance of the holiday in 2004 and 2005 to save money during the aftermath of the power crises. See also

Going toward the north. northbound Adjective going towards the north Adj. 1. lane and one southbound lane of the I-5 from Hasley Canyon to Rye Canyon will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Going toward the east. eastbound Adjective going towards the east Adj. 1. lane and one westbound lane of Highway 126 from I-5 to Castaic Junction and both eastbound Highway 126 connectors to the north- and southbound I-5 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
