The deal will begin with placement of "Everybody Dance Now...(Sweat)" in the on-line giants catalogue initially, with deals in the works for the rest of the album as well as the entire RMD catalogue. Each time a consumer downloads a song from the site (http://www.apple.com/itunes/) they pay a fee of $0.99, which is then split between RMD and Apple Corp. In it's first year, I Tunes sold more than 70 million songs. With I Tunes forecasting an even bigger response by music consumers at large, the venture could be a very powerful one for RMD.
