RKF makes good use of time in NY and LA.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC, the national retail leasing representative for The Swatch Group, Inc., has completed leases for two new Swatch locations at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan and The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

The 341 s/f store at Grand Central Terminal is in the heart of midtown Manhattan and opened in the summer of 2005. Swatch was represented by RKF's Robert Cohen, executive vice president, while landlord Metropolitan Transit Authority was represented by RKF's Karen Bellantoni, senior managing director. Neighboring tenants include Banana Republic, Aveda, Origins, Kenneth Cole and Forever Silver.

The second location, a 1,000 s/f store, opened in June 2005 in the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Swatch joins 170 other stores in the well-known and heavily-trafficked Forum Shops, an collection of high-end stores, restaurants and family entertainment venues set in a replica of an ancient Roman marketplace. Cohen represented the watch retailer in this transaction.

RKF has also secured space for The Swatch Group's luxury Omega and Breguet watch lines. The world's largest manufacturer and distributor of finished watches, The Swatch Group owns 18 major watch brands and employs more than 20,000 persons in over 50 countries. The company recently opened its 44th Swatch store in the United States.
