RKF exclusive on Seventh Ave.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation's leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has been named exclusive leasing agent for the retail portion of the 700,000-square-foot Class A office building at 810 Seventh Ave., with 9,000 square feet becoming available March 1, 2005.

Robert Futterman, CEO, and Joshua Strauss, director, of RKF are representing Reckson Associates Realty Corp. in the retail leasing assignment.

Nearly one-third of the 9,000 square feet of retail space--2,641 square feet --is configured for a restaurant tenant and is currently occupied by Martini's Restaurant. The property is located between Seventh Avenue and Broadway at 53rd Street.

"Reckson Associates is preparing for a major renovation of the retail component of the property. This will include a new storefront complemented an upgraded plaza containing new planters, pavers and seating," said Strauss.

"The owner is repositioning the property, and we are seeking top restaurateurs and upscale traditional retailers to fill the available space. RKF is also targeting financial institutions that may be looking for a flagship location in the Times Square North area."

Neighboring tenants include Hershey's Times Square, Fleet Bank, The Athletes Foot, Sheraton Manhattan, Ruby Foos Restaurant, Carolines Comedy Club, Washington Mutual, and Rosie O'Grady's.
