NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 30, 1996--Directors of RJR Nabisco RJR Nabisco, Inc., was an American conglomerate formed in 1985 by the merger of Nabisco Brands and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. :RN) today declared the regular quarterly cash dividends on the company's common stock and Series B and Series C preferred stocks.

Common Stock

The board declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $.4625 on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable October 1, 1996 to shareholders of record September 15, 1996.
