RIVER OF QUACKS RUBBER DUCKIES INVADE PALMDALE.


PALMDALE -- The inaugural Rubber Duck A rubber duck, or rubber ducky, is a toy shaped like a goose that is made of rubber or rubber-like material such as vinyl plastic. Almost all modern rubber ducks are made out of vinyl plastic rather than rubber.  Race brought thousands of toy ducks on the water Saturday at the DryTown Water Park to raise money for the Palmdale Public Library Foundation and the Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. The Antelope Valley
 Boys & Girls Club Girls Club is a 2002 American television series created by David E. Kelley, who was also it's producer and executive producer. Only two out of a total of thirteen episodes created were broadcast on Fox Television in the United States and Global Television in Canada. .

The event was hosted by Rotary Clubs of the Antelope Valley. Ducks cost $5.

(1 -- 2 -- color) Above, 10,000 rubber duckies float down the Lazy River at the start of the third race of the day at the first Rubber Duck Race at DryTown Water Park on Saturday. Organized by the Kiwanis Clubs of the Antelope Valley, the race benefits the Palmdale Public Library Foundation and the A.V. Boys & Girls Club. Below, guests watch the floating procession of ducks.

(3 -- color) The Antelope Valley Queens drop their yellow duckies into the Lazy River to start the Queens Race, the first race of the day in the first Rubber Duck Race at DryTown Water Park.

(4 -- color) Spectators and Ka Boom, the JetHawks mascot, watch rubber duckies float down the Lazy River on Saturday at the first Rubber Duck Race at DryTown Water Park.

(5 -- color) Winning rubber duckies float into the fishing line tube (only ducks in the tube are winners) at the third race of the day at the Rubber Duck Race benefiting the Palmdale Public Library Foundation and the A.V. Boys & Girls Club.

(6 -- color) Guest watch 10,000 rubber duckies float down the Lazy River at the third race of the day at the first Rubber Duck Race at DryTown Water Park.
