RIORDAN DEPUTY SEEKS HAHN'S JOB.

 took out papers Thursday to run for city attorney in 2001 in a race that will pit him against Councilman Mike Feuer.

``I think the main issue will be quality of life for residents and implementing the new City Charter,'' said Delgadillo, who heads up Mayor Richard Riordan's business improvement team.

Delgadillo took out papers that will allow him to begin raising money for the race that he said will cost a candidate more than $1 million to be effective.

Feuer has been raising funds and pursuing endorsements since last year. Riordan has not said whether he will endorse To sign a paper or document, thereby making it possible for the rights represented therein to pass to another individual. Also spelled indorse.

Delgadillo has worked for Riordan since 1994, when he left Rebuild L.A.
