Never mind the Getty. Los Angeles' real contribution to the cultural landscape considers herself as ``down-to-earth as the girl next door.''

We're talking about swimsuit model and actress Cindy Margolis, the most downloaded woman in cyberspace.

This cybersweetheart was born and raised in the Valley and began her career modeling for greeting cards. Today, she appears in commercials, on billboards, on TV and, perhaps most famously, as the evil Fembot in the comedy hit ``Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.''

Now, Yahoo! Internet Life magazine has crowned Margolis Top Downloaded Woman after America Online users downloaded 750,000 images of Margolis so far this year.

That beats Yahoo's top cyberdude Brad Pitt's paltry 250,000 downloads.

Margolis - who sometimes appears as aerobics instructor Katy on ``Baywatch Nights'' - became queen of the Internet in summer 1995 when TV's ``Extra'' shared her photos with online fans, and a line of Cindy computer mousepads, screen savers and trading cards was launched.

Margolis also has two Web sites as well as numerous fan sites. America Online users can go to keyword: cindymargolis and link to all of the above as well as various photo galleries.

Next year, the 20-something Margolis will host ``Planet X,'' a new syndicated show that discusses Web sites and other Net-related topics.

Unlike some cybersweeties, Cindy keeps her clothes on. In one of several cyberchats with fans, she was asked if she ever posed nude. Margolis typed back, ``No! A thousand times no!''

Coming soon: The notorious honeymoon video of Tommy and Pamela Lee videotaping each other having sex on a boat and in a car and rolling joints together is coming soon to an adult video store near you.

Internet Entertainment Group, which claims to have reached a legal agreement with the Lees to be the only legal distributor of the video, has struck a deal with S&D Video Inc. for the exclusive marketing and sales of the tape on VHS and DVD.

IEG offers about 39 minutes of the more than three-hour video to members on its Web sites (clublove.com and freelivesex. com), which it claims to have sole legal rights to as a result of the agreement with the Lees after a California State Superior Court judge in Los Angeles denied a request by the couple Nov. 6 for a temporary restraining order.

`Daily' suspension: Craig Kilborn, host of Comedy Central's ``The Daily Show,'' was suspended without pay by the network this week for sexually insensitive and ``inappropriate comments'' he made in a story published in the January issue of Esquire magazine.

The comments in question appeared in the last two paragraphs of the story, where Kilborn responded to questions about his contentious relationship with the show's co-creator and writer, Lizz Winstead.

Hooray for Hollygrove: It's that rockin' time of year again when the Ringling Sisters host their 12th annual charity bash.This year, the event features Henry Rollins, Auntie Christ (featuring Exene Cervenka), Dave Alvin, Johnette Napolitano, Ann Magnuson, Rufus Wainwright, the John Doe Thing and many others on Thursday at the Roxy in West Hollywood.
