RIMA: Argentina women networking.


RIMA-lista is a Spanish-language list-serve coordinated by RIMA, the Red Informativa de Mujeres de Argentina (Argentine Women's Information Network) based in Rosario, Santa Fe Rosario is the largest city of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is located 300 km (187 miles) northwest of Buenos Aires, on the western shore of the Paraná River. It has 909,397 residents as of the 2001 census INDEC].  Province, Argentina. Thanks to the participation and collaboration of many feminists, what first began as a short list of 30 e-mails has now grown to become a virtual network of over 430 women in 15 provinces of Argentina Argentina is subdivided into twenty-three provinces (Spanish: provincias, singular provincia) and one federal district (Capital de la República or Capital de la Nación, informally the Capital Federal).  and varous countries throughout Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. , the Caribbean and Europe. Among these members are lawyers, journalists, psychologists, physicians, secretaries, scholars, writers, photographers, legislators and city councilwomen. Numerous NGOs are also on the list-serve.
