 RICHARD COHEN APPOINTED PRESIDENT AND CEO OF ICT EUROPE
 LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerry Rubinstein, ICT chairman and chief executive officer of the world's leading digital audio service, DMX(TM), has named entertainment executive Richard B. Cohen as president and chief executive officer of International Cablecasting Technologies Europe N.V., it was announced today.
 Cohen, who was executive vice president for Buena Vista Home Video Worldwide (BVHV) at The Walt Disney Co., will be responsible for overseeing all operations at the European subsidiary of ICT. Cohen, whose appointment is effective Nov. 23, will be based in London, reporting to Rubinstein.
 "Richard's extensive international entertainment and operations experience, coupled with a solid record of achievement in his former positions, make him an invaluable director of ICT Europe," said Rubinstein. "We look forward to his contribution to our overall business."
 The native New Yorker also worked at United International Pictures (UIP), the international distribution arm for Universal, Paramount and MGM/UA prior to his six years at BVHV. While at UIP, he established joint venture pay-tv networks (FILMNET) in Scandinavia/Benelux, United Kingdom and Japan. Earlier, from 1982-83, Cohen was vice president of planning for the national pay television service, Spotlight.
 ICT is a diversified provider of satellite-delivered cable audio programming for residential, commercial and international markets. Equity participants in ICT include Tele-Communications Inc. (TCI), Scientific-Atlanta, Viacom, KBLCOM, Crown Media and Shaw Cablesystems of Canada.
