RICHARD C. SHAW ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT - COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS FOR BEARINGS, INC.
CLEVELAND, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard C. Shaw, 44, has been elected vice president - communications & public relations of Bearings, Inc. (NYSE: BER) according to chairman and chief executive officer John C. Dannemiller. This position is new to the company. Shaw has served as the company's director of corporate communications since 1989. Prior to joining Bearings, Inc., he was a senior vice president with Liggett-Stashower Advertising, Inc. He has been an active part of Cleveland's business-to-business advertising community since 1974. Shaw graduated from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, where he received a bachelor of arts degree. He resides in Avon Lake with his wife Linda and their three children, Ryan, Michael and Adam. Shaw belongs to the University Club, serves on the boards of the Dunham Tavern Museum and the Avon Lake Kiwanis Club.
