RFSI Hires Mock As V.P. - Operations.

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 1996--RFS Hotel Investors, Inc. (Nasdaq symbol: RFSI) today announced the hiring of Angie Atchison Mock as vice president of operations.

Mock comes to RFSI from Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., where she most recently was director of market planning and research for the Harrah's Casino in New Orleans. She held various senior planning and analytical positions with Harrah's and its predecessor company, The Promus Companies, including director of corporate planning for Embassy Suites, Inc., and internal audit manager for Promus. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Mock is a certified public accountant, and a former member of the Young Leadership Council of New Orleans.
