) which owns hotel properties, announced today that the Company's board of directors is considering ways to mitigate or eliminate concerns expressed by some investors regarding the structure of hotel REITs, and to finance the Company's long-term growth and acquisition plan.

The Company recently engaged Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. as its financial advisor regarding these issues.

Robert M. Solmson, president and chief executive officer of RFSI, said that, "While our Company has substantial cash, virtually no debt, and an unused line of credit, we believe it prudent for the Company to consider a number of strategic alternatives designed to facilitate financing of the Company's long-term growth plan and address investor concerns regarding potential conflicts of interest. By undertaking this analysis, we are attempting to fully explore all our options, including, but not limited to, relinquishing re·lin·quish
