Notes: Examples are things like copyrights, patents, intellectual property, and goodwill. These are the opposite of tangible assets. : $20,000 This study will assess the relationship between intangible assets -- ideas, relationships, knowledge, people, networks, patents, common goals, goodwill -- and communication. The final report will offer analysis and a diagnostic tool for applying this knowledge to organizational communication Organizational communication, broadly speaking, is: people working together to achieve individual or collective goals. [1] Discipline History The modern field traces its lineage through business information, business communication, and early mass communication . Virtual Work Force: $10,000 This literature review and assessment will explore the virtual work force and its effect on organizational communication. It will examine which communication processes and methods are most effective in a virtual work force. Communication Research Primer: $10,000 A primer on how to perform communication research, this report will include best practice examples, techniques, tools and analysis; practical, easy-to-follow models of research; and skill-related guidance on integrating research as a critical part of a communication project.
