The certification RFP (Request For Proposal) A document that invites a vendor to submit a bid for hardware, software and/or services. It may provide a general or very detailed specification of the system. 1. The NHIN RFP requires vendors to design and develop a prototype network suited to real-world healthcare environments, such as physician offices, hospitals, clinics and labs. According to government contracting rules and to ensure competitive bids, no values were attached to the RFPs. The standards RFP and the certification process RFPs each involve one cost-reimbursement contract. The NHIN demonstration project involves six cost-reimbursement contracts, including two to small businesses. The privacy and security assessment RFP, released by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, n.pr formerly known as the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research, this agency researches the quality of medical care and health services. on June 7 and due mid-July, includes in a line item awarding one prime contract and 40 subcontracts totaling $11.5 million.
