RFMD UNVEILS LOW-NOISE AMPLIFIER FOR CDMA/GSM CELLULAR HANDSETS.RRF Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ NASDAQ in full National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations U.S. market for over-the-counter securities. Established in 1971 by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), NASDAQ is an automated quotation system that reports on :RFMD RFMD RF Micro Devices (NASDAQ) RFMD Rotary Fluid Management Device ), Greensboro, N.C. has developed a new low-noise amplifier that combines high performance, and low cost. The RF2451 is designed to operate from a single 2.7V-4V power supply and is intended for application in CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band. and GSM digital cellular handsets. The device, produced using Si Bi-CMOS process technology, features a built-in LNA bypass switch and offers low power consumption and high input IP3. Setting the device's input IP3 with an external resistor maximizes the dynamic range of the receiver. The RF2451 provides a gain of 12dB, 1.8dB noise figure, and +5dBm input IP3 with 3.3mA bias current, at 1950MHz. The component is available in a small industry-standard MSOP-8 surface mount package, enabling compact designs that conserve board space. With an operating range of 700MHz-2000MHz, the RF2451 is suited for applications such as CDMA handsets, GSM handsets, IF or RF buffer amplifiers, oscillator oscillator Mechanical or electronic device that produces a back-and-forth periodic motion. A pendulum is a simple mechanical oscillator that swings with a constant amplitude, requiring the addition of energy at each swing only to compensate for the energy lost because of air loop amplifiers or as a driver stage for power amplifiers. The RF2451 is ready for immediate shipment and is available for $0.57 per unit in order quantities of 10,000.
