RFD Communications, Inc., Omaha, NE, announces the nation's two DBS satellite companies, DIRECTV and DISH Network have extended their agreement to carry the company's RFD-TV channel and expand its coverage by including it in both DBS companies new "family-oriented" package of programming.

RFD also announces the hiring of Ed Frazier as its COO. In addition to corporate planning, he will also head up efforts to expand the network's programming. Previously, he had been with Liberty and Fox Sports.

Jenny Duke has been hired as general manager for RFD's Nashville, TN, operations. She will also serve as editor of RFD-TV The Magazine. Previously, she was with Gaylord Entertainment.

Jim Kanter has been hired to serve as VP of sales for RFD TV The Magazine and to oversee the expansion RFD's publication interests. Previously, he had been with Farm Progress companies.
