, Vice President of Sales for RFM commented, "The demand for wireless solutions in China is growing at a dramatic rate. For many years engineering, qualification and procurement of material for telecom and wireless equipment took place outside of China. But over the last decade, China has been developing engineering, manufacturing and material acquisition infrastructures which have made it a major player in the wireless marketplace. With the potential for growth in China it became clear that RFM needed representation familiar with the telecommunications and wireless equipment manufacturers within China. Our IF/RF IF/RF Intermediate Frequency/Radio Frequency  SAW Filters and Frequency Control clocks and oscillators have been designed into various telecom equipment platforms around the world. We needed an organization that could get our products to the growing telecom and wireless companies within China. We are confident that Fiaco's geographical diversity, technical strengths, and established presence in the Chinese market will give us the opportunity to provide wireless solutions to these companies."

Crawford further stated, "The addition of Fiaco is a part of our on going, strategic effort to strengthen our market presence worldwide. In addition to Fiaco's coverage in China, we expect to increase our presence in the North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  market with the addition of two new sales representatives, Disman Bakner Company in California and the Twist Company in Minnesota. We will continue to seek out sales organizations with the unique attributes necessary to market our products and increase our visibility in RF markets globally."
