REWARD INCREASED FOR TIP LEADING TO SCV BOY'S KILLERS.

The killers of a Valencia sixth-grader have a new bounty on their heads.

The Santa Clarita City Council added $2,000 Tuesday to the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed 11-year-old Paul Youhanian, who was shot in the head while riding in his mother's mini-van in North Hollywood.

The additional money increases the reward to $37,000.

City officials said police have no leads or suspects in the killing of Paul, hit by a stray bullet Oct. 5 as he rode with his mother and 3-year-old brother on Sherman Way near Whitsett Avenue and the Hollywood Freeway (170).

The city of Los Angeles has offered a $25,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the crime. The county of Los Angeles also has offered a $10,000 reward.
