REUTERS APPOINTS NORTH AND LATIN AMERICAN MANAGERS

 NEW YORK, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Reuters America today announced several key executive appointments in its North and Latin American business units.
 The appointments take effect on July 15 in Mexico, Argentina, New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and Miami.
 Michael Mazzola, Vice President, New York City Midtown District, becomes Manager of Reuters Northern Region, Latin America, headquartered in Mexico City.
 Brian de Lacy, Vice President, Northeast District, moves from Boston to New York and replaces Mazzola as Vice President, Midtown District.
 Wassim Henoud, currently Reuters Manager for the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa, moves to Boston and replaces de Lacy as Vice President, Northeast District.
 Carols Pia Mangione, Vice President, Western District U.S., moves to Buenos Aires and becomes Manager of Reuters Southern Region, Latin America.
 Michael Armstrong, Vice President, Central District, moves from Chicago to Los Angeles and replaces Pia Mangione as Vice President, Western District.
 Howard Meltzer, current Vice President, Business Operations, located in Chicago, assumes additional responsibility for the Central District. He becomes Vice President, Business Operations and Central District.
 Jeremy Toye, former Manager, Southern Region, Latin America, will take up a new assignment which the company will announce soon.
 Hector Lopez, former Manager, Northern Region, Latin America, moves to Miami to oversee a business review of Reuters Latin American media activities including news services, news photos and Reuters Television. His title is Vice President, Media Special Projects.
 William O'Shea, Executive Vice President, Reuters America Inc., said: "For the past several years, Reuters has been developing a structure that allows us to strengthen our market position in the Americas. We are focusing on our clients' needs as we make these management changes."
