RETIRING RODNEY; Dungannon S v Larne.

DUNGANNON Swifts boss Dixie Robinson has praised midfielder Rodney McAree who retired from football last weekend.

McAree, 35, who is first team coach at Stangmore, called it quits following the 2-1 defeat at Coleraine.

"It was a bolt from the blue - but he felt it was the right time," said Robinson. "He has been a very loyal servant to this club and we are fortunate to still have him as a coach. He remains a big influence in the changing room."
